Unfortunately, MyTube, which is implemented entirely in Ruby on Rails, is hitting a scaling barrier at peak usage hours, which are reportedly between midnight and 2am PST. An insider at MyTube tells us confidentially that they get up to 100 users before the system slows to a crawl, causing bored users to delete random files from their servers by requesting well-formed URLs like http://mytube.com/database/delete and http://mytube.com/debugger/start. “It’s just so rude”, MyTube engineers were overheard saying in their Atlanta office. “Some of our users are just plain wankers.

The story is satire, exaggerating real pitfalls and humor points in said technologies. It is not meant to be taken too literally.

By the way, your captchas are very hard to read (I know this recaptcha system is neat and all, but still). Also, the way Wordpress handles form input errors on submit is kind of lame, no back button, a pretty raw error page, you should look into that.
By the way, good job on Banshee, I used to think it was lame, but the improvements that have been brought recently proved me wrong.
I just have a question, not necesarily regarding Banshee itself, but probably more the Gnome stock icon as designed in Tango…

Am I the only one to think that the “Home” icon just above the podcasts icon is very old school, lame and doesn’t fit in with the rest of the icons?
